Cyclone

Cyclones are air/product separators installed downstream of pneumatic transport systems. They can be integrated into transfer networks in excess pressure or depression.

Unlike cyclofilters, cyclones are not directly equipped with a cleaning filter but are associated with a remote filtration box.

The objective being:

– To avoid contact between the filter bags and the product to be separated

– Reduce the risks of cross contamination between different productions

– Enable complete cleanability of the cyclone by cleaning systems in place

Depending on the size, several cyclones can be associated with the same cyclofilter in order to achieve economies of scale or to facilitate maintenance operations (without stopping production).
